If you would like to have your City of Clayton utility bill automatically debited from your checking or savings account, please print and fill out the attached form and submit it to the Clayton Government Center.

If so, the City would like to hear from you.  Please submit your questions to the following e-mail address AskClayton@clayton.oh.us and a staff person will respond to your questions usually within 72 hours.  Please be sure to include your name, address, e-mail and phone number in order for the City to respond to your question or concerns. If a group of your neighbors have the same questions, please include their names and contact information. After you receive a response if you would like to meet with City staff to discuss your issues, please call the Government Offices at 836-3500 to schedule a meeting.

WEB DESIGN
Request for Proposal

The City of Clayton is requesting proposals for “Website Design.”  We will receive sealed bid proposals until 4:30 pm on May 22, 2011.  Copies of the Request For Proposal (RFP) are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm at the City of Clayton Government Building, 6996 Taywood Rd.  Or click here to view the RFP.   



CLAYTON'S ANNUAL
FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING

Each year, the Fire Department flushes fire hydrants throughout the city.   This year’s program will begin during the month of April and will conclude during the month of June.  Please click here for more information.

Allied Waste is the name we are familiar with in the Dayton market, but they are transitioning over to the Republic Services name on their trucks and marketing material


2012 HOLIDAY
TRASH SCHEDULE

If your regularly scheduled trash service day falls on a major holiday, your scheduled service for trash removal will be one day later.  Allied Waste will recognize the following holidays during 2012, that fall on a weekday:

*  May 28, Memorial Day
*  July 4, 4th of July
*  September 3, Labor Day
*  November 22, Thanksgiving Day
*  December 25, Christmas Day

If the holiday falls on a weekend there is no delay in service.

Part–Time Paramedic / Firefighter

Applications are being accepted for part-time Paramedic/Firefighter positions for our June 2012 hiring.  Applications must be submitted no later than May 18, 2012, 4:30 PM at the Clayton Government Center.  Please click here for more information.


TRASH AND RECYCLING DISPOSAL SERVICES QUESTIONNAIRE

The city provides for the collection and disposal of residential trash and recycling through a contract with Allied Waste Services. When the Allied Waste contract is due to expire the city will issue bids for the services and award a contract to the company that submits the best and lowest bid.  In that regard we are interested to hear what you have to say.

If you are willing, please take a few minutes and respond to the attached questionnaire.  Once completed you may drop the response to the Government Center or mail to our address at P.O. Box 280 Clayton, OH 45315.  The information gained from your responses will help to shape the way that these services will be provided in the future

CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT

The City of Clayton has prepared the attached report to provide information to the consumer on the quality of our drinking water for testing year 2011.


EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

The City of Clayton is urging all citizens to register their cell phones and/or unlisted phone numbers with the Montgomery County’s Regional Dispatch Center’s Emergency Notification System.  The registration is free, takes only a few minutes to complete and updated contact numbers can be a huge benefit to police and fire departments if/when the need arises.  Click here for more information

Parks and Recreation

DP&L Line Clearance

DP&L has contracted with ABC Tree Co. to perform line clearance of trees within Clayton.  ABC Tree Co. will be making outbound calls to affected residents beginning Monday, May 7.  Additionally, door hangers will be placed at properties along the route to be cleared with additional information.  Attached are maps depicting the affected areas.  Map 1, Map 2
