Jack has served in local government within Montgomery County since 2000 after receiving his bachelor’s degree from Wright State University in Urban Affairs. Over the past seventeen years he has served in Washington and Harrison Townships as well as the City of Clayton. While at Harrison Township, Jack worked on the $7 million Ft. McKinley neighborhood redevelopment project, the American Carco brownfield and environmental remediation project and over $20 million in business retention and expansion projects. Jack has also secured over $2 million over the last several years for various economic and community development projects and public infrastructure initiatives. Jack started with the City of Clayton in March of 2016. Since that time the City has taken a proactive approach to both community and economic development. Some of those initiatives include the update to the 1999 Comprehensive Land Use Plan, the creation of the N. Main Street Overlay District, conducting local business meet and greets, an aggressive marketing of available commercial land, instituting a proactive code enforcement program and starting several new community outreach programs. Jack currently sits on the County Corp Board of Trustees and the Mother Brunner Center Board of Directors. He’s a past member of the Montgomery County Environmental Crimes Task Force, the Montgomery County Vacant Property Solutions Forum, the Our Lady of Mercy Education Commission and the Our Lady of Mercy and Queen of Martyrs Advisory School Board. Jack and his wife have four daughters and reside in the City of Clayton.
