Kevin Schweitzer is a life-long resident of the Northmont community. After graduating from Northmont High School, he received his Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration from Sinclair Community College and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Wright State University. He also attained the designation of Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and Certified Public Finance Administrator. Kevin previously worked for over 15 years with the Auditor of State of Ohio’s Audit Division before starting with the City in 2007.
Kevin is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Governmental Finance Officers Association, Association of Government Accountants and Association of Public Treasurers. He is also involved with numerous community organizations including the Northmont Education Foundation, Northmont Alumni Association and Happy Corner Church.
Kevin has two children who both graduated as Valedictorian from Northmont. His daughter received a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in accounting from Miami University. She has also achieved the designation of Certified Public Accountant. She was recently married and works for a regional accounting firm. His son received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Health Care Administration from the University of Central Florida. He is currently enrolled in a Doctorate program at Indiana State University while working as an Athletic Trainer for a high school. In 2020, Kevin married Diane, who teaches 4th grade for Northmont City Schools.
Kevin likes to spend his free time with his wife, listening to music, traveling and hanging out with friends.
