City Events
One of the great qualities of this community are the events and activities that are available for residents. Let us know what your organization is planning and find out more about the services offered by the city.

Residents are welcome to bring up to four bags or boxes of items to be shredded and can watch their items being shredded. Proof of residency required.  Sorry, no businesses.

Fall Sweep Clayon Clean

Saturday, October 21st from 8 am to 1 pm.

Electronic Recycling
The last few years we have worked with Goodwill/Easter Seals on Electronic Recycling events for our residents.  We have been notified by Goodwill that they will not be hosting electronic recycling events this year, due to commodity prices being so low they cannot recover their costs.  However, we have found an alternative for you.  Ohio Drop Off has a location in Union, Ohio Mulch.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
We are hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th. The hunt begins promptly at 9:00 am, so please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to line up. The event will be held at Meadowbrook at Clayton and will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved inside. Children up to eight years old are welcome to come gather candy-filled eggs, we just ask that you bring your own basket. There will be three age groups: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-8. Bring your camera and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. For more information, please call 836-3500. Attached is our flyer for this year's event.

After the Easter Egg Hunt, The Grill by Heritage will be open and ready to serve breakfast. For the menu and pricing information, please contact Heritage at 540-9685.

Leaf Collection
Each fall the Clayton Service Department collects leaves from residential properties. Each property is guaranteed a minimum of two pickups. Attached is our annual leaf collection flyer which outlines the process and a schedule for each residential street.

Labor Day Fireworks
Clayton is hosting their first annual Labor Day Celebration at Meadowbrook at Clayton.  The events will begin at 5:00 with activities for the children, and musical groups from Northmont High School.  Fireworks will begin promptly at 9:00 p.m.
