Dennis LiebermanDennis Lieberman graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a double major in Political Science and Sociology in 1975, and from the University of Dayton School of Law Cum Laude in 1978. Dennis stated with the law firm of Smith and Schnacke after graduating law school. Within a few years, Dennis and friends from law school stated their own law firm of Lieberman, Landon, Gehris and Smith. In 1984 they merged with another firm and became the law firm of Flanagan, Lieberman, Hoffman and Swaim, where he is currently a partner.

Dennis has received numerous awards: Access to Justice Community Advocacy Award for his work on death penalty cases, the MLK Holiday Celebration Humanitarian Award, Lifetime Achievement Award in the Montgomery County Democratic Party, County Chair of the Year Award from the Ohio Democratic Party, “Joe Friday” Award from the Kleptz YMCA, University of Dayton School of Law Distinguished Alumni Award, Top 100 Trial Lawyer in America the past three years and top ten in Ohio in 2014, named Ohio Super Lawyer for the past 10 years as well as the Best Lawyers in American for over 25 years, named Lawyer of the Year for Best Lawyers in American in 2011, “Best in the Bar” by the Dayton Business Journal.

Dennis has extensive community service serving as an Acting Judge in Vandalia Municipal Court, Trustee at Miami University, Adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton School of Law teaching trial practice and coaching the law school’s national mock trial team, in addition to volunteering at Northmont High School coaching the Northmont mock trial team.
