Trash Service Delays

If your regularly scheduled trash service day falls on or after one of the six major holidays, your scheduled service for trash removal will be one day later that week only. Note: this delay in service does not occur when the Holiday falls on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday).

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

Please note, Martin Luther King Jr., President's Day, Juneteenth, Columbus Day, or Veteran's Day there is no delay of service.  Trash will be picked up on it's normal days these weeks.

2026 Holiday Trash Delay Schedule

New Year's Day - Thursday, January 1, 2026 - trash service will run on a one-day delay Thursday and Friday

Martin Luther King Jr. Day - January 19, 2026 - Your pickup day will remain the same.  This holiday does not impact your service schedule.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day - February 16, 2026 - Your pickup day will remain the same. This holiday does not impact your service schedule.

Memorial Day - Monday, May 26, 2026 - Your pickup will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.  Service will run on a one-day delay throughout the week.

4th of July - Saturday, July 4, 2026 - Your pickup day will remain the same due to the holiday falling on a Saturday

Labor Day - Monday, September 7, 2026 - Your pickup will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.  Service will run on a one-day delay throughout the week.

Thanksgiving - Thursday, November 26, 2026 - Thursday and Friday service days, your pickup will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.

Christmas Day - Friday, December 25, 2026 - Friday service days, your pickup will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.
