
Kenneth Henning currently serves as the 2nd Ward representative. Henning is a parishioner at Precious Blood Catholic Church. He is married to Natalie and has 2 sons- Clayton and Henry. His family has resided in the Northmont Community for 75+ years. Henning also represents Secretary Frank LaRose in 16 Southwest Ohio counties. The Secretary of State’s Office oversees Ohio elections and is the granting authority to do business in Ohio. Henning proudly supports small businesses by participating with seminars focused on business filing/creation, development, growth, and business identity theft protection. Prior to the LaRose Administration, Henning worked for Judge Erik Blaine’s administration at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Henning is also is a member of, or has served on, multiple regional committees: Improvement Corporation and the Cost Recovery / Impact Fee Appeals Board, Northmont Education Foundation, Various Chamber of Commerce Planning Committees, Miami Valley Regional Planning Committee, First Suburbs Consortium of Dayton, Northmont Schools Strategic Planning Committee, and active with numerous Rotary/Kiwanis International clubs around the Miami Valley.
Henning graduated from Northmont High School. He then received a B.A. and M.P.A.C. from the University of Dayton. Joining the 2018 inaugural class, Henning completed the Public Leadership Academy at The Ohio State University- John Glenn College of Public Affairs.
Henning is passionate about supporting our law enforcement and our fire department. They are the reason Clayton is one of Ohio’s safest cities. Supporting the service department, promoting smart development growth within the city, and advocating for residents is also a passion of his.
